Shott Capital Management is a registered investment advisor focused on providing investment management solutions to private equity investors. Shott Capital Management has managed in-kind stock distributions since 1991 and private equity fund investments since 1997.

In October 2003, SCM became an affiliate of State Street Corporation and a member of State Street Global Alliance, LLC, the strategic venturing partnership between State Street Global Advisors and the Dutch pension fund ABP.  SCM is separately capitalized and independently managed with offices in San Francisco and Boston.
